This wasn’t just a career shift—it was a total transformation. It was about reclaiming who I am, aligning with my purpose, and trusting myself enough to pursue a life that feels whole.

Last December, I hit a pivotal moment. I wrote in my journal, “I WANT CHANGE”—not just any change, but the kind that aligns your life with who you truly are. I knew I wanted to live more authentically and start a business that empowers others to do the same.
At the time, I was grappling with the uncertainty of potentially losing my job. When my position was unexpectedly saved, I realized something profound: I no longer wanted to rely on external circumstances for my stability or fulfillment. It was time to take control and design a life that felt truly aligned.
To prepare for this shift, I took intentional steps to prioritize myself and my future:
🌱 I transitioned my son to childcare, giving myself space to reset and reflect.
🌱 I negotiated a part-time work schedule to create room for growth.
🌱 I enrolled in the Let Your Body Lead professional certification to learn how to guide others to their purpose through coaching, embodiment, ancient wisdom and science.
🌱 I dove into Human Design training to understand my natural gifts and how to use them to help others.
This time of exploration wasn’t just about education—it was about rediscovering me. I tried things like reformer Pilates, sound baths, a solo trip to the mountains, and even got a tattoo. Sharing my experiences as a mother on social media was another way I connected to my purpose. Through these moments of joy and curiosity, I realized that supporting other moms in their journeys was part of my calling.
Human Design revealed I have splenic authority, meaning I make my best decisions through intuition. Trusting my inner knowing wasn’t easy, especially as resistance showed up in the form of people-pleasing and fear of failure. But through embodiment practices, I learned to recognize these patterns and meet them with compassion, instead of letting them hold me back.
One of the most transformative parts of this journey was creating a clear vision for my future. When I started to embody the version of me living my dream life—aligned, fulfilled, and empowered—I began moving toward it faster than I imagined.
By June, as my work contract and certification program concluded, I felt a sense of clarity I hadn’t felt in years. I knew my purpose was to help ambitious working moms create lives of fulfillment, ease, and balance. I spent the summer building my business with that vision in mind, and I’m so excited to be helping others step into their own aligned success.
This wasn’t just a career shift—it was a total transformation. It was about reclaiming who I am, aligning with my purpose, and trusting myself enough to pursue a life that feels whole.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, unfulfilled, or like you’re meant for more, I want you to know this: change is possible. The path may be uncomfortable, but it’s also so worth it.
With love,
Emily
